When is the anticipated release of new v3.0.0?

How severe does this issue affect your experience of using Ray?

  • Medium: It contributes to significant difficulty to complete my task, but I can work around it.

We are trying to use Ray Serve for production. But memory usage is much larger than expected.
We want to use the fix in DAGDriver memory increasing for basic DAGs - #6 by simon-mo, which is supposed to be in v3.0.0.

v3.0.0 refers to a nightly version of Ray. Every so often, this is “snapshot” and released as a new minor version. You can see if a PR is in a released version by checking to see if the commit has any labels - in this case this change is included in Ray versions 2.3.0, 2.3.1, and 2.4.0.
