Keeping up with the Python'eses

Python 3.9.13 is the last maintenance release in the 3.9 series.

Python 3.10.6 is the latest official release.

Why or what keeps Ray from supporting the latest Python release soon after it becomes available?

The problem is it stops other libraries and tools from being upgraded in the stack. Thanks

Hi @Henry_Thornton,

If you are using linux or mac, you can use ray 1.13.0 with python 3.10. Does that work for you?

We’re on Windows 10/11 for development, linux for production.

So, is it Windows which keeps Ray from supporting the latest Python release soon after it becomes available?

Yea, windows support is still in beta so it might lag behind.
