Recording videos, new "record_env" config?

How severe does this issue affect your experience of using Ray?

  • High: It blocks me to complete my task.

I am in the process of upgrading Ray from 1.13.0 to 2.1.0. It appears that the record_env config option has been removed, which previously allowed a way to specify a location to save videos. What is the new way to enable recording of videos?

There have been large changes in the gym API which are not backward compatible.
We try our best to forward these changes to users in our releases but in this case we had to push it to another release. We are planning on offering this in the future again.
