Hey, I have some PRs open for over 2 months now that are only 3 and 4 lines respectively. They are very trivial typing corrections. Have been continuously pinging on Github without replies:
1. Severity of the issue: (select one)
None: I’m just curious or want clarification.
Low: Annoying but doesn’t hinder my work.
Medium: Significantly affects my productivity but can find a workaround.
High: Completely blocks me.
Ray uses a GitHub Actions workflow to automatically mark pull requests as “stale” after 14 days of inactivity and close them after another 14 days if there is still no activity. If you want to keep a PR open, you need to leave any comment, which will remove the stale label. PRs with the “unstale” label will not be marked stale again. This process applies regardless of the size or triviality of the PR, and maintainers encourage discussion on the Ray forum or Slack if you need help or want to escalate review requests. See the workflow details here.
If your PRs are not getting reviewed despite pings, it’s likely due to maintainer bandwidth or prioritization. You can try posting on the discussion forum or Slack to get more visibility, but there is no guaranteed SLA for trivial PRs. Would you like more detail on the PR review process or escalation options?
