Fatal Python error: Aborted

  • High: It blocks me to complete my task.

I am having an issue to use ray with my personal pc environment. I tried to literally just initialize ray. However, it returns Fatal Python error: Aborted. This error might indicate low-level issue.
May I get helps for solving this issue?

Hi @Yong ,

Could you tell us your environment: os, ray version, use conda or not etc.

Hello @jjyao ,

os: Window 11
Ray version: 2.7.1
Not using conda.
NVIDIA CUDA toolkit 11.8 is installed.

I believe my Python environment is quite standard, and I’m not certain if there’s anything specific I need to highlight.

I have a possibly related issue (a similar issue has been reported by others as well):

Have you solved your problem? I have also encountered such a problem

Can you share ray, os, python versions as well as a repro script?
