Curious why jupyter notebook installed in rayproject/ray-ml image instead of jupyter lab

Hi, I’m just curious why the older jupyter notebook is installed in the rayproject/ray-ml image instead of the newer, more full-featured jupyter lab. Can I file a feature request to get lab installed in the image instead of or in addition to?

Thanks,

It makes sense to me to install jupyterlab instead. Not sure if it has any technical implications. cc: @kai who might know this…

Do you want to just make a quick contrib PR? Don’t think there’s a good reason on our side

Thanks! PR here
