Python 3.14 installation status?

1. Severity of the issue: (select one)
None: I’m just curious or want clarification.
Low: Annoying but doesn’t hinder my work.
Medium: Significantly affects my productivity but can find a workaround.
High: Completely blocks me.

The install documentation shows that python3.13 is still in beta when python3.15 is days from stable release. Python3.14 is not in the documentation at all. According to github python3.14 installation is supported. So what is the status of both?

Ray’s support for Python 3.13 is labeled as “experimental” in the official documentation for Ray 2.54.0, and some dependencies may have compatibility issues. Python 3.14 support has been merged into Ray’s codebase, and experimental wheels are available starting with Ray 2.55, but this support is not yet considered stable or fully documented. There is no official, stable release for Python 3.14 as of now, though nightly/dev wheels exist for testing purposes. Python 3.15 is not yet supported, but tracking for its support has begun in the Ray project, with work expected to start after the beta release of Python 3.15.

For the most up-to-date status, refer to the Ray GitHub issue for Python 3.14 support and the Ray base images documentation, which lists supported and experimental Python versions. Would you like more detail on how to install Ray with these Python versions or on the timeline for stable support?

Version 2.54 was over half a year ago. I would like to know if the documentation is updated regarding 3.13 and 3.14. As in 3.14 is not even in alpha and 3.13 has not reached stable version?

As of the latest official documentation, Python 3.13 support for Ray is still marked as “experimental” (not stable), and Python 3.14 is only available as “experimental” wheels—there is no indication in the docs that 3.14 has reached even alpha or beta status for stable releases. The documentation does not list Python 3.14 as a supported version, and 3.13 is not marked as stable; both are not considered production-ready in the official docs or release notes for Ray 2.54 and newer.

For the most current status, see the Ray base images documentation and the Ray 3.13/3.14 support issues on GitHub. Would you like a step-by-step summary of the current install/test process for these Python versions?
