Interblocking - nested actors


My script is running some Level1 actors (4 Cpus per actor) that are running at some point a (Level2) actor (1 CPU per actor). When executing, the Level1 actors are consuming all the resources, and they are not able to launch any of the Level2 actors resulting in a blocking situation (each level1 actor can end only if its sub actor has been executed and terminated).

I was thinking that using ray.get would temporary release the resources of each level1 actor, but it is not happening

  • What is the best solution to solve this problem ?
  • Is it for instance possible, when executing a level1 actor to ensure that there is a 1 CPU that will be kept free ?
